About Ruben

Ruben is the pen name of the founder of ScrapperScan, the app that helps collectors check Disney pins and Disney Lorcana cards for fakes. Articles on the ScrapperScan blog are published under that name.

How these articles are made

Articles are researched and drafted with AI assistance. Before an article is published it goes through a fact-check pass: every factual, dated or news claim has to be backed by at least one independent source, and those sources are linked in the article. A claim that can't be verified is cut instead of published.

Seasonal guides are updated in place when new information comes out, and the "updated" date on the page changes when they are.
