Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using ScrapperScan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
ScrapperScan is an AI-assisted Disney pin authentication tool including: pin scanning, scan history, collections, data export (PDF/JSON), home screen widget, and scan sharing.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Scores and verdicts are estimates and should not be treated as definitive authentication. ScrapperScan accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of scan results. Always use your own judgement.
4. Free Tier, Scan Limits & Rewarded Ads
Free accounts have a limited number of AI-assisted scans per day, resetting at midnight. Free-tier users may earn additional scans by watching optional rewarded ads. Free-tier scan results older than 90 days are automatically deleted. Upgrading to Premium removes the daily limit and 90-day expiry.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, reverse-engineer the app, submit illegal content, use automated scripts, or attempt to circumvent scan limits.
6. Subscriptions & Billing
Premium subscriptions are weekly, monthly, or annual, billed through Apple's App Store with automatic renewal. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. No refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
7. AI Training Data & Feedback (Optional)
If you opt in via 'Help improve ScrapperScan', your pin scan images and results may be used to train future AI model versions. This is optional and has no effect on the service you receive. You may withdraw consent at any time by toggling off the setting; withdrawal does not affect data already submitted.
You may also optionally submit a thumbs-up or thumbs-down verdict on any scan result to indicate whether you found the result accurate. This feedback is stored on our servers and used solely to evaluate and improve the accuracy of the AI model. Submitting feedback is entirely voluntary. Feedback is deleted when you delete your account.

8. User Content & Sharing
You are responsible for content you choose to share. ScrapperScan does not transmit shared content to its servers. You retain ownership of images you submit; by submitting you grant ScrapperScan a limited licence to transmit them to our AI provider for analysis only.
9. Account Termination
Delete your account at any time via Profile > Delete Account. ScrapperScan reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All ScrapperScan content and code is protected by intellectual property laws. Disney pin trademarks belong to The Walt Disney Company. ScrapperScan is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Walt Disney Company.
11. Limitation of Liability
ScrapperScan shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
12. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be notified via in-app notice with an updated 'Last updated' date.
13. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dutch courts.

15. App Store Required Provisions
- a) Acknowledgement. This EULA is concluded between you and ScrapperScan only, and not with Apple Inc. ScrapperScan, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content.
- b) Scope of Licence. The licence granted is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service Usage Rules.
- c) Maintenance and Support. ScrapperScan is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the Licensed Application.
- d) Warranty. ScrapperScan is solely responsible for product warranties. In the event of any failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- e) Product Claims. ScrapperScan, not Apple, is responsible for any claims relating to the Licensed Application, including product liability claims, regulatory compliance, and consumer protection claims.
- f) Intellectual Property Rights. ScrapperScan, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim.
- g) Legal Compliance. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted parties list.
- h) Third-Party Terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app (e.g. your wireless data service agreement).
- i) Third-Party Beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you.
